Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups sliced peaches fresh, canned, or frozen – drained if necessary
  • cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon or cardamom
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch optional, for thickening
  • A pinch of salt
  • For the Crumble Topping:
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon or cardamom
  • ½ cup melted butter 1 stick

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Prepare the Peach Filling
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a medium bowl, mix peaches, sugar, lemon juice, vanilla, cinnamon, cornstarch (if using), and salt.
  • Pour the mixture into a 9-inch pie dish or 8x8-inch baking dish.
  • Step 2: Make the Crumble Topping
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and cinnamon.
  • Pour in the melted butter and mix with a fork until the mixture forms coarse crumbles.
  • Step 3: Assemble and Bake
  • Evenly sprinkle the crumble topping over the peach filling.
  • Bake for 40 minutes, or until the crumble is golden brown and peach filling is bubbling.
  • Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
